COVID-19 has taken its toll on everyone, but there are other Health & Safety hazards in the workplace that have been put on hold for the past 24 months. As we begin a new chapter in this pandemic, we need to get back to the basics of health and safety and remember the other hazards to look for and eliminate to keep our workers healthy and safe everyday. Pillar Nonprofit Network presents the Social Six Workshop Series where young people are invited to learn, innovate and network with their peers and social impact professionals. As a participant, you will gain the opportunity to tackle local and global issues, gain crucial entrepreneurial experience and learn about key social competencies (social - enterprise, finance, inclusion, innovation, labs, and technology).
Most nonprofits and social enterprises have a social media presence. With some planning and a strategy, you have likely tried to rally an engaged community around your organization. Perhaps you have had some success with better brand awareness, engagement and/or more donations or sales - depending on your social media strategy. For many you might ask yourself is social media really driving any traffic to your website and/or impacting sales/revenue? Are you getting the kind of engagement you would like to see?
