All of the proceeds support families affected by childhood cancer throughout Western Ontario, providing direct financial assistance, social and emotional support, and funding research at Children’s Hospital in London.
Join us for the Childcan Walk and help raise funds for children affected by cancer and their families. Funds raised will also fund vital paediatric research.
A diagnosis of cancer in a child is devastating. Besides the incredible emotional toll it takes on the family and, of course, the child, it is estimated that one-third of a family’s net income will be redirected to costs incurred while their child is in treatment. Often, one parent will have to leave their employment during this time. The financial and emotional impact on families can be unbearable. This is why, each year, we hold the Childcan Walk.
