The Nonprofit Connector Call is a way to stay connected during COVID restrictions. These peer-to-peer conversations allow us to share the lessons of 2020, our hopes for 2021 and to learn together. Each week we will have a different topic to spark discussion, but feel free to arrive with issues that concern you and we can lean on each other. We hope you can join us.

COVID-19 has taken its toll on everyone, but there are other Health & Safety hazards in the workplace that have been put on hold for the past 24 months. As we begin a new chapter in this pandemic, we need to get back to the basics of health and safety and remember the other hazards to look for and eliminate to keep our workers healthy and safe everyday. Join Workplace Safety and Prevention Services (WSPS) in this session on simple safety solutions that nonprofits can use.

In the social impact sector, “nothing for us without us” should be an assumption we all uphold. We know we can’t do the work of solving systemic challenges and working towards a more equitable, inclusive and sustainable future without the input of the populations we hope to serve. If we are all unified in this better hope for the future, then we need to ask ourselves how well we are serving, and how well our actions are being shaped by, the stewards of that future state - youth.
